AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF
SCHERTZ, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 2-47
(a) (3) OF SAID CODE
WHEREAS, Section 2-47 (a) (3) of the Code of Ordinances
which is the codification of Ordinance No. 74-G-45, Section V,
dated November 5, 1974, setting forth the Powers and Duties of the
Personnel Board is in conflict with Section 5.03 (a) Powers and
Duties of the City Manager and Section 4.07 (b) Prohibitions, of
the City Charter; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS:
That section 2-47 (a) (3) of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Schertz, Texas, be amended so that such section shall
read as follows:
"Section 2-47 (a) (3) To hear and consider appeals,
receive evidence and determine facts, and recommend
the affirmation, modification or reversal of admin-
istrative actions appealed from, to the City Manager
as well as recommendations to the City Manager of
proper action to be taken."
