AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 77-M-10 IN ACCORDANCE WITH
LAW AND STIPULATING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, as required by the General Law of the State of Texas
and the Schertz City Charter, a budget was prepared and adopted by the
City Council on September 20, 1977 for Fiscal Year 1977-78; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, meeting in Regular Session December
6, 1977, approved funding for position #08-1052 to the City Manning
Codument; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
that the following amendments are hereby made to City of Schertz Ordinance
No. 77-M-10:
SECTION 1 - That Section 2 of City of Schertz Ordinance No.
77-M-10, more particularly "EXHIBIT A" (the Fiscal Year Budget), is
hereby amended in the following manner:
A. To fund line item #8-1052 in the amount of
$5,925.00
B. To add to the following line item accounts
in the designated amounts:
1. Social Security $358
2. Unemployment Tax $ 59
3. Workmens Compensation $236
4. Compo Gen. Liability $ 53
5. Group Insurance $197
SECTION 2 - That the total of this amendment equals $6,828.00.
SECTION 3 - That all applicable subtotal and total lines of the
Fiscal Year Budget be changed on the Monthly Report to reflect this total
amendment.
SECTION 4 - That this amendment does not cause deficit finan-
cing.
SECTION 5 - That funds to provide for this amendment will be
appropriated from excess and un budgeted cash in the General Fund.
SECTION 6 - That the public importance of this measure consti-
tutes and creates an urgent public necessity requiring that this ordinance
be passed and take effect as an emergency measure, and shall take effect
and be in force immediately upon and after its passage.
