ORDER: CALL TO Bobbie Boyce called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m.
The meeting recessed to celebrate Mary McAllister's dedication to the Library since
1984. She will be greatly missed.
Bobbie Boyce called the meeting back to order at 7:06 pm.
6. Brainfuse Demonstration- Demonstration and discussion of online tutoring.
Natalie Shults demonstrated the Brainfuse tutoring program. It was discussed that
the Library will give the program two years as its trial period. They will track the
usage. The minimal usage of the system required is 7,000. Brainfuse can be used by
all school age children that has a Library card. It offers tutoring in all school
subjects. The only language that is currently offered is Spanish. It even has college
prep tests. It also has a live tutor and an area for parents to go to help their children.
7® Purchase of Library Materials- Discussion and possible action regarding the
purchase of Branfuse online tutoring program.
Mary McAllister moved to give the funds needed to get Brainfuse. Ruth Tienor
seconded the motion. The motion carried. The Library received the funding for
Brainfuse.

Ruth Tienor moved to adjourn the meeting. Neota Brady seconded the motion. The
motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m. The next meeting is
November 2, 2015.
