Greetings:
Vie, the majority`of the property owners and qualified voters
of the following described territory which is not more than
one half mile in width, hereby petition your honorable body
to extend the present city limits so as to include to -wit:
HEGIIT'.ING at a point designated by an iron pin
placed in the NIV line of the Live Oak road, which
point is N 59 degrees 28 minutes, E 180 feet from
the original SE corner of the 12.37 acre tract;
THENCE N 30 degrees W 720.7 feet to an iron pin;
THENCE N 59 degrees 15 minutes, E 360 feet to an
iron pin;
THENCE S 30 degrees, E 721.1 feet to an iron pin;
THENCE S 59 degrees 28 minutes, W 360 feet to the
place of beginning,containing six (6) acres of land
more or less.
The only reason for this request is to secure city water for
our personal use at home and possibly a fare- hydrant near by.
The Green Field new additions presently under construction,
which are situated across the street, diagonally from our
property, will be considered in the city limits and ,rill have
city water installed. City water could be installed to both
properties at the same time.
