03-08-741 Extension of boundary linesORDINANCE NO AN ORDINANCE rROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY OF - SELP,'A, TEXAS, AND THE ANN=ATICI� OF CERTAIN T7RRIT11-'!RY CCNSIST1'1v OF AN AREA ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY =, ITS OF THE CITY CF TEXAS, AND I'ViORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN BY l,ETES AND BOUNDS AND rROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF SUCH ORDINANCE. RE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Selma, Texas: SECTION I. It -is- hereby ordained by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Selma, Texas, that upon passage of this ordinance, that land, territory, and area described in Exhibit "B -1974" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby added and annexed to the City of Selma, Texas; and said land, territory, and area as described shall hereafter be included within the boundary limits of the City of Selma, Texas, and the present boundary limits of the City of Selma, Texas, at the various points contiguous to the area described in Exhibit "B-1974," and shaded red in Exhibit "C- 1974," attached hereto and incorporated here-in by reference, are hereby altered and amended to include said area within the corporate limits of the City of Selma, Texas. SECTION II• The territory, land, and area so described and so annexed shall be part of the City of. Selma, Texas, and the land and property so annexed and the inhabitants thereof shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges of all the citizens of Selma, Texas, and shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of Selma, Texas. SECTION III. This annexation shall become effective immediately upon passage of this ordinance by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Selma, Texas.
