2004D41- TRAFFIC CONTROLORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS BE AMENDED BY REVISING
SECTION 18 -76, MAXIMUM LIMITS ON SPECIFIC STREETS;
AND PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS:
SECTION I
THAT, Section 18 -76 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Schertz, Texas be amended to
add the following:
"Whereas, in Schertz, Texas, an engineering and traffic investigation has been made to
determine the maximum, reasonable and prudent speeds on the following:
Street
Extent
Speed Limit
FM 2252 FM 2252 from MP 1.000 at the intersection of FM 50 MPH"
482 northwesterly to MP 1.663 at the west city
limits for a total distance of 0.663 miles
approximately.
Whereas, it has been determined by the engineering and traffic investigation that the
maximum, reasonable and prudent speeds for the section of highway described above
are as shown on the attached plans.
Whereas, the City of Schertz, Texas hereby declares and fixes the maximum, reasonable
and prudent speed limits to be shown on the above plans.
SECTION II
THAT, all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby
repealed.
