PZ 2-27-19 MinutesPLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES February 27, 2019 The Schertz Planning and Zoning Commission convened on February 27, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Municipal Complex, Council Chambers, 1400 Schertz Parkway Building #4, Schertz, Texas. PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION Michael Dahle, Chairman Ernie Evans, Vice Chairman Richard Braud Ken Greenwald LaDonna Bacon Glen Outlaw Lauren Garrott COMMISSIONERS ABSENT Gordon Rae 1. Call To Order: CITY STAFF Brian James, Assistant City Manager Tiffany Danhof, Executive Assistant Emily Delgado, Planner Nick Koplyay, Planner OTHERS PRESENT Mr. Dahle called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. 2. Hear of Residents: No residents spoke. 3. Consent Agenda: A. Minutes for the February 13, 2019 regular meetings. Mr. Outlaw motioned to approve the minutes for the February 13, 2019 regular meeting with one correction: Mr. Outlaw first motioned approval of Item 4A, instead of Mr. Dahle. Mr. Braud seconded the motion. The vote was 7 -0, motion carried. 4. Items for Individual Consideration: A. PC2018 -045 Consider and act upon a request for approval of a preliminary plat of Rhine Valley Subdivision Unit 3B, an approximately 13.5 acre tract of land generally located 3,000 feet east of the intersection of FM 1518 and Ray Corbett Drive, City of Schertz, Guadalupe County, Texas. The vote was 6 -1 with Mr. Evans voting nay, motion carried. 5. Requests and Announcements: A. Requests by Commissioners to place items on a future Planning and Zoning Agenda. There were no requests by Commissioners. B. Announcements by Commissioners. City and community events attended and to be attended Continuing education events attended and to be attended There were other announcements by Mr. Outlaw. C. Announcements by City Staff. • City and community events attended and to be attended. • NEW SITE PLAN APPLICATIONS: There were two new site plan applications submitted to the Planning and Community Development Department between February 9, 2019 and February 22, 2019. 1. Mark Roberts Subdivision IV (5702 FM 1103) Site Plan- proposed 8,595 sqft Automobile Repair, Major 2. Windy Meadows Lot 34, Block 2 (144 Windy Meadows) Site Plan- proposed 6,498 sqft warehouse building expansion There were no other announcements by City Staff. 6. Adjournment of the regular meeting: Chairman Dahle adjourned the regular meeting at 6:09 P.M.
