PZ 3-27-19 MinutesPLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES March 27, 2019 The Schertz Planning and Zoning Commission convened on March 27, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Municipal Complex, Council Chambers, 1400 Schertz Parkway Building #4, Schertz, Texas. PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION Michael Dahle, Chairman Ernie Evans, Vice Chairman Richard Braud Ken Greenwald Gordon Rae Glen Outlaw COMMISSIONERS ABSENT LaDonna Bacon Lauren Garrott 1. Call To Order: CITY STAFF Brian James, Assistant City Manager Bryce Cox, Senior Planner Tiffany Danhof, Executive Assistant Nick Koplyay, Planner OTHERS PRESENT Mr. Dahle called the meeting to order at 6:02 P.M. 2. Hear of Residents: No residents spoke. 3. Consent Agenda: A. Minutes for the March 27, 2019 regular meetings. B. PC2019 -009 Consider and act upon a request for approval of the final plat of Rhine Valley Subdivision Unit 2, an approximately 16 acre tract, consisting of 70 single family residential lots, generally located on Lower Seguin Road 3,000 feet east of the intersection of Lower Seguin Road and FM 1518. C. PC2019 -001 Consider and act upon a request for approval of a final plat of The Crossvine Module 1, Unit 3, Phase A, an approximately 30 acre tract of land generally located south of the intersection of FM 1518 and Hollering Vine, City of Schertz, Bexar County, Texas. D. PC2019 -002 Consider and act upon a request for approval of a final plat of The Crossvine Module 1, Unit 3, Phase B, an approximately 15 acre tract of land generally located south of the intersection of FM 1518 and Hollering Vine, City of Schertz, Bexar County, Texas. Workshop and Discussion: A. Workshop / Discussion and Public Hearing on Short Term Rentals and PIT Pads Mr. Dahle opened the public hearing at 6:13 P.M. There was a lengthy discussion. Mr. Dahle closed the public hearing at 6:52 P.M. 5. Requests and Announcements: A. Requests by Commissioners to place items on a future Planning and Zoning Agenda. There were no requests by commissioners. B. Announcements by Commissioners. City and community events attended and to be attended Continuing education events attended and to be attended There were comments by Mr. Outlaw. C. Announcements by City Staff. • City and community events attended and to be attended. • NEW SITE PLAN APPLICATIONS: There were no new site plan applications submitted to the Planning and Community Development Department between March 9, 2019 and March 22, 2019. There were announcements by city staff. 6. Adjournment of the regular meeting: Chairman Dahle adjourned the regular meeting at 7:54P.M.
