1. Minutes: Consideration andlor action regarding the approval of the minutes of the
811912019 meeting.
- Patti Paulson moved to ' accept the August 19, 2019 minutes as presented.- Joanne
Ward seconded the motion.
C. Librarian's Report: The Librarian reported on thefollowing item-

Information about Book Store gift certificates will be in the November issue of
Schertz Magazine. The Book Store should be prepared for requests for them and
check that supplies are on hand.
The Schertz Area Genealogy group has changed its meeting time from 6:30-8pm to
5:30-7pm.
4. Bookstore Report: The Committee reported on thefollowing items:

Joanne Ward reported that there are four new volunteers who have been in training
and are doing well in the store.

more donations. We do advertise on our web page, in Schertz Magazine, and in the
store, but perhaps more effort could be made. The downside to advertising is the
possibility that more items would be donated than volunteers could process or store.

7. Items by the Library Board Members: Briefing and discussion on thefollowing items,
Correspondence received by the Secretary: Melissa Uhlhorn read a thank-you from the
Library Foundation to the LAB for supporting the Foundation's mini golf event.
