ORDINANCE NO. 06-1.(- 48
AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SCHERTZ, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE ABANDONMENT OF A ROAD
AND THE CONVEYANCE THEREOF TO THE ABUTTING
LANDOWNERS
WHEREAS, a portion of Hubertus Road (marked "A" on the attached Exhibit A) (the "Road
Segment") is owned by the City of Schertz, Texas (the "City") but has been determined by the
City no longer to be required;
WHEREAS, the City has determined to abandon the Road Segment and to convey the Road
Segment to the abutting property owner, San Antonio Three Ltd, Partnership, as described on
Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, Section 272.001 (b)(2), Texas Local Government Code, as amended, permits the
City to convey the abandoned Road Segment to the abutting property owner;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION I
The City Council hereby authorizes the abandonment and conveyance of the Road Segment and
authorizes the City Manager to execute and deliver a Quitclaim Deed, in substantially the form
attached as Exhibit B, to effectuate such action.
SECTION II
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
