AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY
REVISING SECTION 7-1/2-54. EXHIBIT 2 GARBAGE
RATE SCHEDULEj PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE;
AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS:

THAT Section 7-1/2-54, Exhibit 2 Garbage Rate
Schedule of the Code of Ordinances City of Schertz, Texas is
hereby revised to read in accordance with Exhibit 2 Garbage
Rate Schedule, attached and made a part hereof.
II
THAT the effective date of this ordinance shall be 23
January 1994.
III
THAT all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Service Fees. The fair and reasonable rates for collecting garbage,
trash, and brush as equitable to all residents are:

E. Wet Material. Rates on Compactor containers or open top containers
with wet material must be negotiated with customers at the time they are
needed. This type of waste must be hauled to a Type 1 landfill which
generally charge higher tipping fees.
