AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ.
TEXAS, AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY
OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, CHAPTER 10, ARTICLE VI
GARAGE SALES, SECTION 10-100 DEFINITIONS AND
SECTION 10-106 NUMBER OF GARAGE SALES
LIMITED AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS
ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS:
I
THAT the Code of Ordinances City of Schertz. Texas,
Article VI. Garage Sales, Section 10-100 Definitions be
amended by changing subsections d. to read as follows:
"d. Charitable or Non-profit Organizations. Includes
church groups, school groups and any organization which has
applied for and received charitable or non-profit status
from the State of Texas. Each subsidiary organization or
subgroup of any charitable or non-profit organization,
including for example each auxiliary, club, special
committee or any other group designated by a charitable or
non-profit organization as a subsidiary organization or
subgroup, shall be treated as a separate charitable or
non-profit organization for purposes of Article VI of
Chapter 10 of this Code."

THAT the Code of Ordinances City of Schertz, Texas,
Article VI, Garage Sales, be amended so that Section 10-106
shall read as follows:
