SCHERTZ BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
OCTOBER 1, 1991
The Schertz Board of Adjustment convened in Special Session
Tuesday, October 1, 1991 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council
Chambers of the Municipal Building, 1400 Schertz Parkway,
Schertz, Texas. The following members were present: Earl
W. Sawyer, presiding; Joe Potempa, Barbara Stanhope, Mary
Marsh and Ken Greenwald. Absent: Hal Baldwin Staff present
were City Manager Kerry Sweatt and City Secretary June
Krause.
#1 PUBLIC HEARING: The Board of Adjustment to receive
input from citizens regarding a request from Thomas A.
Nelson, 503 Aero Avenue for a 4 foot exception to the side
yard setback requirement of the Zoning Ordinance.
Mr. Sweatt advised that this public hearing is really set
for October 15th and not for October 1st. He apologized for
it being on this date, stating that it was on the previous
workshop so that Mr. Nelson could appear and answer
questions or make comments. This has been properly
advertised in the newspapers for the 15th of October.
#2 Consider and take action concerning the above item.
#3 ADJOURNMENT:
hearing at 7:03 p.m.
Mayor Sawyer adjourned the public
After closing that public hearing, Mayor
digressed from the agenda to welcome Guadalupe
Commissioner Davis and his wife, and Gu dalupe
Commissioner Brannon.
