SPECIAL SESSION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
AUGUST 13., 1988'

The Schertz City Council convened in Special Workshop Session,
Saturday, August 13, 1988 at 8:00 a.m. in the Conference'Room of
the Municipal Complex, 1480 Schertz Parkway, Schertz, Texas. The
following members were present: Mayor Earl W. Sawyer, presiding;
Earl Hartzog; Hal Baldwin; Ray Stanhope; Adolph Aguilar and Ken
Greenwald. There were no staff members present. '
11 EXECUTIVE SESSION: Mayor Sawyer called an executive
session under Article 6252-17, Section 2 (g) Vernon's Texas Civil
Statutes, to interview candidates for the City Manager's
position.
The Special Session reconvened at a.m.
12 Consider and take action if necessary on the above
referenced Executive Session.
Mayor Sawyer asked for a motion from Council.
Mr. Greenwald moved to hire Mr. Kerry Richard Sweatt. Mr.
Hartzog seconded the motion, which carried with the following
vote:
AYES: Councilmen Hartzog, Baldwin, Stanhope; Aguilar and 0
Greenwald~
NAYS: None
13 ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business Mayor
Sawyer declared the meeting to be adjourned at
