SEDC Minutes 2/27/2020 Page 2 of 4 I "W4 prummul Mr. Perez provided the briefing for the financial statements as follows: for December 2019, Sales Tax revenues increased by 16.2% (year-to-year) and the SEDC received a $364,567.28 payment. Total Cash and Investments: $21,631,383.78. Monthly operational expenses: $5,234.04 (2 recruitment trips: Fabtech and the Atlanta Road Show). For January 2020, Sales Tax revenues increased by 15.0% (year-to-year) and receive4, $328,405.24 payment. Total Cash and Investments: $22,358,897.67. No ma • operational expenses this month. 7. Greater San Antonio Regional Economic Development trategy Up ate. erez tem requested • S. Morrill. On June 20, 2019, Staff presented on the SAEDF development of a collaborative regional economic development strategy with respect to economic and workforce development. Thii SAEDF asked for the SEDC's participation in the six-phase process which was anticipate'I to be completed by January 2020. The SAEDF and its partners are completing a transition plan to prepare for strategic launch in July of 2020. The Board participated by asking questions related to the region's reach, definition of partnership for the group, agreement for funding, and what other benefits will help us to grow?
