The Schertz City Council convened in Emergency Session, Thursday, October 11,
1979 at 6:45 P.M. in the Conference Room, 1400 Live Oak Road with the
following members present: Mayor Robert C. Bueker, presiding; Walter F.
Schneider; Earl W. Sawyer and Richard L. Howe. Absent: Gail Hyatt and
Jack M. Stomackin, Sr. Staff present: City Manager Jimmy G. Gimore and
Deputy City Secretary Alice Austin.
#1 RESOLUTION: The Mayor introduced the following captioned reso-
lution, with the City Manager reading the caption.
Mr. Schneider made a motion to approve the resolution as read. Mr. Sawyer
seconded the motion which carried with the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Schneider, Sawyer and Howe.
NAYS: None

RESOLUTION NO. 79-R-18
A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
PLACING IN NOMINATION JOHN B. MC CLURE FOR THE DIRECTORSHIP OF
THE GUADALUPE COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT.
#2 ORDINANCE: The Mayor introduced the following captioned ordinance
with the City Manager reading the caption.
The Mayor requested a paragraph be added to read as follows:
liThe City of Schertz reserves the right to use such line at no
cost until the new 20" water line is completed~ tested and
certified by the City Engineer."
