General Qpgration.-
- A large amount of donations has recently been received.
- Additional volunteers are needed for the bookstore.
- The bookstore will consider not accepting DVDs or CDs.
Melissa Uhlhorn discussed the May strategic planning sessions with
library staff using SOAR exercises. Among the items discussed:
• Fiscal year comparisons were discussed with understanding of the
impact of Covid.
• The 4 main areas of review were technology, outreach, pr�ogram-s,—
and internal operations.
• Google reviews were discussed. Most were 5 star with no 1-2 star.
Complaints are usually about noise and teen behaviors.
Compliments include great help, great items, and great space.
• The Library tied again with the Fire Department as most favorably
viewed in a citizen survey.
6. Items by the Library Board Members: Briefing and discussion on thefollowing
items.

SOAR exercise to help with planning.
Dawn Figueras asked that the Board consider using some of the
Investment Account money for a special item(s).
Margaret Riley moved to adjourn the meeting.
Carol Cyr seconded the motion. (Note: since Car ®l is retiring after 26
years of service, this was her last official act as a LAB member. Thank you
and Bravo).
The motion carried.
- The meeting was adjourned at 7:35.
- The next meeting will be 8/1/2022. There will be no LAB meeting in July.
