AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING
SECTION 18-33, ALL-WAY STOPS, AND SECTION 18-76,
MAXIMUM LIMITS ON SPECIFIC STREETS; AND
PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS:
SECTION I
THAT Section 18-33 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Schertz, Texas be amended to add the following:
"Sec. 18-33 Same--Same--All-way stops.
Savannah Drive and Schertz Parkway
Ashley Park and Schertz Parkway
SECTION II
THAT Section 18-76 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Schertz, Texas be amended to add the following:
Sec. 18-76
Maximum limits on specific streets.
Street
Extent Speed Limit
Schertz Parkway
From IH-35 to 100 yards
north of Savannah Drive 40 MPH
Schertz Parkway
From a point 100 yards
north of Savannah Drive
to Live Oak Road
intersection 35 MPH"
SECTION III
THAT all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
'pflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
First reading approved the I51i day of ~ ,1996.
