the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2000 and ending September

PROVIDING FUNDS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING

BY APPROVING THE BUDGET FOR SAID PERIOD AN;
APPROPRIATING THE NECESSARY FUNDS OUT OF
THE GENERAL AND OTHER REVENUES OF THE CITY

WHEREAS, as required by the General Laws of the State ()f Texas and
the Ciht Charter, the budget has been preparod and submitted to the City Council
with estimates of expenditures and revenues of all City Departments and

SECTION 1. THAT for the purpose of providing the funds necessary
and proposed to be expended in the budget for said City for the fiscal year
beginning October 1, 2000 and ending September 30, 2001, thel budget was
prepared and submitted to the City Council for its consideration and approval and
that said budget in the total amount of $12,097,244 and the same is hereby
appropriated for the maintenance as set forth in said budget.
