RESOLUTION NO. 07-R-01
A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, TO CREATE
AN ETJ AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF NEW BRAUNFELS TO DEFINE
MUTUAL PLANNING BOUNDARIES.
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz desires to have an ETJ agreement with the City
of New Braunfels to define mutual planning boundaries; and,
WHEREAS, efforts have been underway for several years to complete an
agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the agreement follows the general boundary of current ETJ or city
limit lines; and,
WHEREAS, the agreement takes into account property boundaries; and,
WHEREAS, the agreement takes into account highway and road right of ways;
and,
WHEREAS, the agreement takes into account topography and current
development projects in both cities.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Schertz,
Texas:
THAT, the governing body of the City of Schertz hereby adopts a resolution
approving the attached agreement between the City of Schertz, Texas and the City of
New Braunfels, Texas including the Map attached hereto as Exhibit A,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this the ~ IY.Q day of ,lit/V, ,2007.
