Earl Hartzoe: called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. #2 CITIZEN COMMENTS: Citizen comments on items other than those listed on this agenda. None #3. Consider and act upon approval of the minutes for June 25, 2007 Mr. Potempa motioned to approve the minutes for June 25, 2007 Mr. Slocum seconded the motion. All in favor. #4. PUBLIC HEARING A BOA2007-023 Hold a public hearing and to consider and act upon a variance request to encroach upon a 50' gas easement with a storage shed at 1004 Ivory Creek, LOT: 4, BLOCK: 6 of Dove Meadows Subdivision Unit 2. The applicant is Mr. Thomas Morrissey the owner of the property. Mr. Potempa motioned to approve the request. Mr. Slocum seconded the motion. Mr. Hartzoe: called for a vote. V ote unanimous, motioned carried. B B0A2007-019 To consider and act upon a variance request for a sign that will exceed the size requirements by 70 sq. ft. along FM 3009 and to encroach 30 ft. into the front setback at Forest Ridge Commercial on FM 3009 LOT: 50, BLOCK: 4 of Forest Ridge Commercial Subdivision. The applicant is Aetna Sign Group, Ltd. Acting on behalf of Corridor Properties, Ltd. Postponed until next BOA meeting, due to more information requested from Aetna sign showing detailed pictures and or pictures of comparable signs. C BOA2007-020 To consider and act upon a variance request for one additional multi-tenant monument sign at 6051 FM 3009, LOT: 1 of 3009 Horizon Subdivision. This is for a l1x12 ft. sign that will front Triton Dr. The applicant is Aetna Sign Group, Ltd. acting on behalf of FM3009- Horizon, L.P. Mr. Slocum motioned to approve the request. Mr. Wienand seconded the motion. Mr. Hartzoe: called for a vote. All in favor. D B0A2007-021 To consider and act upon a variance request for one additional multi-tenant monument sign at 6051 FM 3009 LOT: 1 OF 3009 Horizon Subdivision. This is for l1x12 ft. sign that will front FM 3009. The applicant is Aetna Sign Group, Ltd. acting on behalf of FM3009- Horizon, L.P. Mr. Wienand motioned to denied the request. Mr. Potempa seconded the motion. All in favor. #5 ITEMS FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION: There were no individual items for consideration. #6. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION BY: Board of Adjustment: BOA Bylaws place on the next agenda. Mr. Hartzoe: made recommendations for Vice Chair- Joe Potempa All in favor. #7.
