RESOLUTION NO. 08-R-26
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, APPROVING THE CANVASS OF THE MAY 10, 2008
ELECTION RESULTS.
WHEREAS, an election was duly held in the City of Schertz, Texas, on the 10TH
day of May 2008 to elect Council Member Places 1,2, and for Mayor; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council duly canvassed the vote of said election
on this the 20th day of May, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the canvass showed the following results:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION I
The City Council finds that the results of the general and special elections as set
forth above are correct and the canvass of votes is hereby approved.
SECTION II
The total of votes cast during early voting was 558 by personal appearance, and
293 votes were cast on Election Day. The total number of votes cast in this election
was 851.
SECTION III
Hal Baldwin
Is hereby declared to have been elected to
the Office of Mayor.
Jim Fowler
Is hereby declared to have been elected to
the Office of Council Member Place 1 .
David L. Scagliola
Is hereby declared to have been elected to
the Office of Council Member Place 2.
