SPECIAL SESSION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
JUNE 11, 1974
The Schertz City Council convened in Regular Session
Tuesday, June 11, 1974 in the Council Chambers, 608 Live
Oak Road, at 7:30 P.M. with Mayor Robert C. Bueker present
and presiding. Councilmembers Seeba, Koch, Funk Koole and
Schwartz present. Absent: None. Also presnet were F. S.
Schlather, Mayor of Cibolo, Texas and Cibolo Councilmembers
Ed Ling, Mrs. Lieck, Mr. Niemietz and Mrs. Marge Smith.
1. DISCUSSION OF ANNEXATION AND ETJ BOUNDARIES:
Mayor Bueker outlined on a map our present City limits
and explained our proposed annexations of common limits and
extra territorial jurisdiction land along and south of I 35.
Mayor Schlather did the same for the City of Cibolo.
He then said his city would like to have 1/2 mile on the
south side of I 35 either side of FM ll03.
Both Councils agreed of the need to combine efforts to
avoid San Antonio from taking us over.
After general discussion, it was agreed by both Councils
to meet on July 9th, 1974.
There being no further business to be brought before the
Council at this time, Mayor Bueker declared the meeting ad-
journed at 8:50 P.M.

PUBLIC HEARING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
JUNE 18, 1974
A Public Hearing was held by the City Council
in the Council Chambers, 608 Live Oak Road, M-c.:::-eh 18,
1974 at 7:00 P.M. with the following members present.
Mayor Buekerpresiding; Counci1members Seeba, Funk,
Koch Koole and Schwartz.
The Public Hearing was held pursuant to the
proposed annexation of the following parcels of land:
1. A 160 acre tract of land south of Cibolo
Creek and adjacent to the Schertz Sewage
Treatment Plant.
2. A certain 80.183 acre tract of land
Southeast of I 35.
3. A certain 74.161 acre tract of land
northwest of I 35.
There was no one present who wished to be heard
on any of the three annexations proposed. After a
short discussion by members of the Council, Mayor
Bueker declared the Public Hearing closed at 7:15 PM.
