2000R16A- TERM OF OFFICE FOR THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND TREASURER
RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE TERM OF OFFICE FOR
THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND TREASURER
WHEREAS, the Corporation's By-laws require that the City Managers ofthe City of Schertz and
the City of Seguin serve as the Executive Director and Treasurer of the Corporation
and that these offices be exchanged between the two managers every two years; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Corporation that the term of office for the Executive
Director and Treasurer correspond to the fiscal year for the two cities, ending
September 30th.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the Board of Directors of the
Schertz/Seguin Local Government Corporation that:
1. Effective October 1,2000, the City Manager of Seguin will serve as the Executive
Director ofthe Corporation and the City Manager ofthe City of Schertz will serve as
the treasurer for terms of office ending October 1, 2002.
2. Effective October 1,2002, and on October 1 of every even-numbered year thereafter,
the office of Executive Director and Treasurer will be exchanged between the City
Managers of the City of Seguin and the City of Schertz.
