RESOLUTION 00 -e-.3
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
REGARDING TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT SAVANNAH DRIVE AND FM 3009.
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz desires and requests that TXDOT provide a
traffic signal and perform related work at the intersection of Savannah Drive and
FM 3009 in the City of Schertz, Texas; and
WHEREAS, TXDOT has estimated the cost of proposed improvements to be
$127,000.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That the City of Schertz, Texas enter into an agreement with
TXDOT wherein in said agreement TXDOT will provide for a traffic signal at
Savannah Drive and FM 3009 in the City of Schertz, Texas and will perform
related improvements.
Section 2. That the City of Schertz agrees to pay TXDOT the amount of
$127,000 for a traffic signal and related work at Savannah Drive and FM 3009 in
Schertz, Texas.
Section 3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into and
execute an agreement with TXDOT, wherein TXDOT will provide said traffic
signal and related work and the City of Schertz will pay TXDOT the amount of
$127,000 for said work and equipment.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED THIS 1ST DAY OF FEBRUARY, 2000.
