A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE BUDGET FOR PAY
OUT TO THE CITY MANAGER AND SALARY FOR THE INTERIM
CITY MANAGER.
WHEREAS, the cost of severance pay for the City Manager was not
budgeted in the FY 99-00 budget; and,
WHEREAS, the employment of the City Manager has been terminated
effective August 1, 2000; and,
WHEREAS, the compensation for the Interim City Manager must be
adjusted to reflect the additional responsibilities of City Manager until a
replacement City Manager is hired.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
and,
THAT, the attached budget amendments are approved for FY 99-00;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the compensation for the Interim
City Manager is set at $ ~,,;( 00" C/O monthly, until further notice.
