BE IT ORDAI~~D BY TH~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
~. There shall be levied and collected for the current year
of 1959, the following taxes upon all property, both real B.nd
personal, within the corporate limits of the City of Schertz, to
be us ed for the purpos e of maintaining the City, its government J
streets, alleys and parks) and for the purpose of paying interest and
sinking funds upon its indebtedness as provided by law; that
there shall be levied and collected a tax upon all porsonal and
real property the sum of
doll~r upon all taxable property.
2. The laws of this state require that a Tax Ordinance shall be
of 1% of each
adopted at the first regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of 8ch~rtz in January of each year, for the purpose of assessing
the necessary tax for. the purpose of maintaining the city government,
and it is so ordained.
