APRIL 23, 2003
The Schertz Planning and Zoning Commission convened in Special Session on Wednesday, April 23,
2003 at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Center, Conference Room, 1400 Schertz Parkway, Schertz, Texas.

Call to Order: Chairman Richmond called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Discuss and Take Appropriate Action to Review Changes to the Unified Development
Code, Articles One and Two.
Attached are the agreed changes to Article One and portions of Article Two, up to and including Section
Four. Commissioners agreed to review the remaining pages in Article Two at a later date. Chairman
Richmond asked that staff incorporate the changes of Article One and up to Section Four of Article
Two. At the next meeting, we can finish up Article Two and begin with Article Three.
3. Discuss and Take Appropriate Action to Discuss the Fee Schedule for the Unified
Development Code.

4. Comments by Commissioners and Staff:
Chairman Richmond stated that this is establishing a good process, and that he is looking forward to
working with Staff and Commissioners. Working on this as a group is beneficial. The Commissioners
decided to leave an open agenda item for every meeting to discuss revision to the Unified Development
Code (UDC).
5. Adjournment: There being no further business, Chairman Richmond adjourned the meeting at
9:30 p.m.
