WHEREAS, the City of Schertz has been advised by the Alamo
Area Council of Governments of a Criminal Justice Grant with
regards to Regional Law Enforcement Communications; and
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz has been informed by the
Alamo Area Council of Governments that $1,892.00 will be the
share required from the City of Schertz under said grant; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz has
authorized the Alamo Area Council of Governments to solicit bids
on its behalf in connection with the Criminal Justice Grant for
participation in the Regional Law Enforcement Communications
System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY
OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS that:
The amount of $1,892.00 pertaining to the share
of the City of Schertz in this Regional Law
Enforcement Communications System is obligated
by the City of Schertz, being further subject to
the provision that this program is a part of a
Federal Grant and any payments herein are contingent
upon the availability of said Federal Funds.
