A RESOLUTION
APPROVING ELECTRICAL CONNECTION AND RE-
CONNECTION FEES BY THE GUADALUPE VALLEY
ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE TO CUSTOMERS WITHIN
THE CITY OF SCHERTZ
WHEREAS, the Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative (GVEC)
on August 15, 1975, properly requested a hearing of the City Council
of the City of Schertz, Texas, in accordance with Section 11.06 of the
Home Rule Charter of the City, and
WHEREAS, at a Hearing held on August 19, 1975, GVEC requested
an increase of $10.00 for each connection or re-connection where an actual,
physical electrical connection is made, and
WHEREAS, this expense is presently being supported by Gen-
eral revenues of the Cooperative, which spreads the expense to all members,
and
WHEREAS, this proposal is to have those members requiring
the service to share a greater part of the expense, NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
That the request of the Guadalupe Valley El ectri c Cooperati ve
to charge $10.00 for each connection or re-connection where an actual,
physical electrical connection is made, is hereby approved and that the
new electrical connection fee becomes a part of City records.
