A RESOLUTION
ADOPTING THE MAINTENANCE AND UPDATING
PROCEDURES TO THE JOB EVALUATION, CLASSI-
FICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN AND MERIT
SYSTEM FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF
SCHERTZ, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the need for maintenance and updating procedures
to the existing Job Evaluation, Classification and Compensation Plan
has become necessary to insure its fairness, and
WHEREAS, the research has been done by an Administrative
Intern and a representative of the Alamo Area Council of Governments
and the maintenance and updating procedures formulated, and
WHEREAS, the Council, Personnel Board, City Manager and
City Staff feel there is a need for such maintenance and updating
procedures and have reviewed such proposal, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, that
a set of maintenance and updating procedures are hereby adopted and
that a copy of such procedures be attached hereto as an exhibit.
