A RESOLUTION SIGNIFYING THE APPROVAL AND AGREEMENT WITH mE
CONCEPT OF CREATING A SPECIAL DISTRICT OR AUTHORITY BY Af:r OF
mE LEGISLATUltE TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN REGIONAL SEWAGE TREAT-
MENT FACILITIES FOR THE CIBOLO CREEK AND ITS WATERSHED.
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz

Texas is in future need of sewage facilities that can more easily
comply with the minimum standards set by the Texas Water Quality
Board;
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of the proposed
Cibolo Creek Municipal Authority which will be created by special
act of the legislature; and
WHEREAS, this city believes this to be a sound approach
towards the ultimate solution of sewage treatment problems;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of
Schertz
, Texas:
That by this resolution, this city gives its full
support to the efforts of Universal City, Texas and the City of
Schertz in their attempt to create a Cibolo Creek Municipal
Authority for the purposes of establishing and maintaining
facilities for the regional treatment of sewage in the Cibolo
Creek and its designated watershed and by this resolution does
in fact signify its agreement to such endeavors.
