RESOLUTION NO. 1005
A RESOLUTION OONFIRMlNG THE INTENT OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS TO ENTER INTO A OONTRACT
WITH THE CIBOLO CREEK MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY FOR 'I1lE PURPOSES OF TREATING WASTE
WATER AND MUNICIPAL SEWAGE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas:
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz, Texas, is desirous of solving future sewage disposal
and waste water problems through the Cibolo Creek Municipal Authority
and,
WHEREAS, the Cibolo Creek Municipal Authority represents the only legal entity
which will afford the citizens of Schertz, Texas, the most direct repre-
sentation in solving such problems, and,
WHEREAS, the San Antonio River Authority has been afforded approximately five years
in which to present an acceptable contract to the City of Schertz, Texas,
concerning the treatment of its waste water and sewage disposal without
success,.
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City of Schertz, Texas:
That it is the intent of the City of Schertz, Texas to contract with the
Cibolo Creek Municipal Authority for waste collection treatment and
disposal services in the event the Texas Water Quality Board so designates
such Municipal Authority to provide these services for that portion of
the Cibolo Creek water shed which affects the City of Schertz, Texas.
