RESOLUTION #1027
A RESOLUIDION AGREEING TO BECOME A SPONSOR OF THE RESOURCE CONSERVATION
AND DEVELOPMENT (Rc&D) PROGRAM OF THE ALAMO AREA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS
AND APPOINTING AN OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE TO THE COUNTY Rc&D COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS th~ City of Sch~rtz r~cogniz~s th~ n~~d for th~ pr~paration of an
ord~rly plan for the wis~ use and dev~lopm~nt of the natural r~sources in the
AAOOG region, and;
WHEREAS the City of Schertz desires that such a plan b~ prepared, and;
WHEREAS the Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) Program provides
the opportunity for th~ d~v~lopm~nt of such a plan, and;
WHEREAS this public body is e1igibl~ for sponsorship of this program, and;
WHEREAS th~ Constitution and By-Laws provid~ for th~ appointment by ~ach
sponsor of a representative to the County Rc&D Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that th~ City of Sch~rtz agr~~s to become
a proj~ct sponsor and appoints a citiz~n as its official r~pr~s~ntativ~ to th~
County Rc&D Committee as provided by the Constitution and By-Laws.
ADOPTED THIS 12th day of Octob~r, 1972 in a regular s~ssion of th~ City Council
of th~ City of Schertz at Sch~rtz, T~xas.
