A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE NEED FOR A
COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYEE POLICY; RECOGNIZ-
ING AACOG AS THE COORDINATOR OF THE
MANUAL; ACKNOWLEDGING THE CONSIDERATION
GIVEN TO EXISTING POLICIES; AND ADOPTING
A NEW SET OF PERSONNEL POLICIES IN THE
FORM OF AN "EMPLOYEE MANUAL".

WHEREAS, a need exists for a Comprehensive
Employee Policy set of guidelines for City employees;
and
WHEREAS, the Alamo Area Council of Governments
staff has coordinated the writing and printing of a set
of personnel policies into a manual, and
WHEREAS, existing personnel policies have been
given consideratio~ in the drafting of a new set of
policies,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, that
The attached "Employee Manual" is hereafter declared
to be the official set of personnel policies or rules for
City employees, to be effective upon passage of this reso-
lution.
