RESOLUTION NO, IJ 1~R- M
A RESOLUTION
DESIGNATING TO THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF
SCHERTZ, TEXAS, THE RESPONSIBILITY OF BID COM-
PLIANCE IN ALL BID SUBMISSIONS AND CONTRACTS
ISSUED BY THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz is required by law to request
bids for certain projects in order to determine the most economical per-
formance of these projects; and
WHEREAS, bid specifications determine the proper utilization
of the completed project; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT the City Manager i,s assigned, the duties to:
(a) review all bids received by the City for
compliance with bid request specifications;
(b) allow no modifications to bid specifications
to a job in process without express consent
of the City Council;
(c) describe in written form the modifications
so approved. Have jobber acknowledge by
signature,
