A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
ACKNOWLEDGING THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN DATED
JUNE 23, 1981, AS THE OFFICIAL INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
POLICY OF THE CITY AND DECLARING THE CITY WILL
CONSIDER THE ORGANIZING OF AN INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
BOND ISSUES UPON REQUEST BY AN INDUSTRY.
WHEREAS, The City Council desires to attract new industry
to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council understands that the City must
indicate its' willingness to work with industries desiring to locate
within the City, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT the City of Schertz designates the Industrial Develop-
ment Plan of June 23, 1981, as the official Policy for the Industrial
Development; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT the City Council upon request by an Industry will consider
the organizing of an Industrial Development Commission to obtain Industrial
Bond issue to new industry.
