A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS,
SUPPORTING ADDITIONAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES AND
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A GENERAL ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL
BY HOSPITAL CORPORATION OF AMERICA IN THE RANDOLPH
REGION.
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need of additional
health care services and a hospital in the area to better serve its
citizens, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT the City of Schertz welcomes and supports the construc-
tion of a General Acute Care Hospital by Hospital Corporation of America
in the Randolph Region that will provide health care services to the area
citizens. It is believed that such a hospital will also improve overall
response time in E.M.S. and S.A.F.E.S. operations and for medical
direction.
