A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE ALAMO AREA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS
TO SUBMIT AND PURCHASE ON THE CITY'S BEHALF RADIO
EQUIPMENT THROUGH THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE DIVISION
OF THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE.
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz has been advised by the Criminal
Justice Coordinator approval has been received from the Criminal Justice
Division of the Governor's Office for their regional radio purchase; and
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz may acquire radio communications
equipment at a cost of $2,477.00, as itemized below:
3 mobile radios @ $1,300.00 each = $3900.00
1 portable radio @ $1,055.00 1055.00
Total
$4955.00
The City's share is 50% or $2.477.00; and
WHEREAS, the cost of this equipment to the City of Schertz is
extremely low; and
WHEREAS, the equipment would greatly benefit the City of Schertz,
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas, authorize
the Alamo Area Council of Governments to purchase the above listed radio
equipment for the City of Schertz through the FY84 Regional Radio Grant
#SF84-B06-8849; and that the City Council obligate $2.477.00 for its' share
of the cost of that equipment.
