A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, TO EXPRESS
DISPLEASURE OF THE ENTEX COST INCREASE OF SERVICE PASSED
THROUGH TO OUR CITIZENS.
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz has received notification from Entex
of a cost of service increase to users of natural gas in our City; and
WHEREAS, the City realizes that economic changes and inflation does
affect costs of service; and
WHEREAS, the City also recognizes that a reduction in the number
of residents served should reduce the number of service people required
to perform such services; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT displeasure be publicly expressed in regards to the service
cost increase passed on to our citizens, and that Entex work toward
reducing service costs.
