A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, AGREEING TO ANNEX THE TERRITORY
SOUTHEAST OF RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE IN ORDER
TO PROTECT THE AIR INSTALLATION COMPATIBLE
USE ZONE
WHEREAS, the Southeast Randolph Home Owners Association has
requested annexation by the City of Schertz; and
WHEREAS, this territory is currently within the City of San
Antonio and the AICUZ area of Randolph Air Force Base; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Antonio must deannex this
ter r itory and release the terr i tory from it I s Extrater r itor ial
Jurisdiction in order that the territory will be contiguous to
the City of Schertz' jurisdiction; NOW THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT if the City of San Antonio performs the necessary
actions to release said terr i tory, the City of Schertz will
commence annexation proceedings to annex the area.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that in the event the City of Schertz
annexes this territory, the Randolph Air Foce Base Air
Installation Compatible Use Zone will be protected as it is.
