A RESOLUTION OF; THE'CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY,
'OF SCHERTZ~ TEXAS DESIGNATING' CERTAIN' ,CITY
OFFICIALS AS ' · :BEINGRESPONSlBLE 'FOR : ACT IMG - '
'FOR' AND ON, BEHALF OF ' THE, CITY OF SCHERTZ
IN DEALING WITH THE TEXAS PMKS' AND WILDLIFE
OEP~RTMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OFPARrICIPATING
IN THE LANOAND WATER CONSERVATION FuND ACT
OF 1965;CERTJFYING THAT THE ,CITY OF SCHERT~
IS,ELIGIBLE Ttl RECEIVE ASSISTANCE UNObR SUCH'
PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the ;Un i ted States Congr'ess has 'passed the, Land
and Water Conservation Fund' Act of 1965 (Publ ic Lal~ 88-578>,
autho,r'i zing, 'the Secr'etaryof Inter' i or' to pray ide financial
assistance to stat-es, ;and pol itical subdivision!s thereof, for
outdoor re~reation purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Legislature has adopted Article 608
11", V.A.C.S., for the 13urpase of allol~ing the State of. Texas, and
it's pol itical subdivisions, ta participate in the Federal
program established under said Public Law 88-578, or such other
pr'ogr,ams as are her'einafter establ ished by the Federal
Gover'nmen t; and
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz is fully eligible to
receive assistance under this Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz is
~esirous of authorizing it's administrative staff to represent
and act for the City in deal ing I~ith the Texas Parks and
Wi 1 d 1 He Department concern i ng 'th i s Program;

BE IT RESOLVED SY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
