RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT
NORTHEAST/IH 35 SPORTS STADIUM
WHEREAS, the City Council of Schertz, Texas is the governing body
of the City of Schertz, Texas;
WHEREAS, the City Council of Schertz, Texas recognizes the potential
social and economic benefits of a sports stadium;
WHEREAS, the City Council of Schertz, Texas supports growth for the
San Antonio-Austin IH 35 Corridor;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
That a sports stadium located along IH 35 in the area of the Retama Polo Center
would provide an added emphasis to the strong growth potential for all cities
located astride the San Antonio-Austin Corridor.
