She was visiting in the interest of cooperation between the two libraries. She invited anyone to attend their meetings which are on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 5:00 P.M. Gail stated that from now on all money~s to be turned over to the city for bookkeeping purposes. After the first of the year the library will be open on Monday. The hours that it will be open have not yet been decided. Gerald was given several names as pCtssibilities fCtr a replacement for Tony's board position. David reported that we need a work day in Novertlber or the first part of December to lay in the ceiling tile and insulate the ceiling. It was decided riot to set a wot"k day, but to leave it up to individuals to come in whenever possible to work. Ruth moved we hire someone to finish up the wall between the present library and the new addition. Gerald seconded. Motion pas~:;.ed . It was decided to new addition. In regard to the date for the dance and auction, Ruth reported we could get the VFW on Sunday, February 18, 1990, or the Community Center on Saturday, February 17, 1990. Earl reported the City of Schertz does not have insurance if we have beer and wine at the dance.
