LAB 01-04-1993 ~ LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD MINUTES The LAB met in regular session on January 4, 1993 Members present: Gerald Thurman.,Richard Cervantes, Margaret Riley, Ruth Tienor, Julie Parr, Sylvia Marbach, Dan Scofield, and Connie Brison, and Gail Douglas. The minutes were presented. Margaret moved they be accepted. Julie seconded. Motion carried. The treasurer's report was presented. Ruth seconded. Motion carried. Julie requested that book sales fiscal year LIBRARIAN'S REPORT moved to accept and Gerald be stated as 1992 instead of 1991 Stats: . The annual report for 1992 was presented and is on file. Gail reported that Joan Frisenhahn phoned today to state that ~he is donating 5000 paperbacks from her bookstore. Julie suggested saving the good paperbacks for the booksale. Gail would likea work day to put up bookshelves. This was discussed and the date of January 9th at 4 p.m. was set. Gail is wanting to put up dedication plaque for new library entryway. The new entryway was discussed. Bricking the building w~~'al~o discussed . a~d will be discussed again when the budget:is prepared. Committee reports: New Business: The dates for the annual book sale is set for March 26, 27and 28th. Richard asked about the meeting room policy. Gail states that it is taken care. Old Business: Margaret asked about the geneology society. Gail she has not had any information for the meetings to be set. Richard offered an official thank you to Dan for coming to the board. Connie moved to adjourn the meeting. Gerald seconded it and it carried.
