SCHERTZ PUBLIC LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD (LAB) MINUTES
The LAB met on 8 September 2003 with the following members present:

Minutes: Minutes were presented and Rut..~ motioned to accept minutes. Mary seconded.
Treasurer~s Report: Reports from June-August were presented. There could be possible
changes due to questions regarding reports from t..~e city. Mary motioned to accept the reports as
presented for now and Ruth seconded.
Librarian's Report:
No stats at this time to report.
As of 1 October, Sandy will be working fJll time with Gail.
1 October t..~e Children's Librarian position will be available and Sandy's old position
will be eliminated.
LAB is still responsible for policy decisions.
RBFCU will have a family day on 27 September at the playscape.
4 October will be a playscape workday.
Schertz Parkway will have a grand opening/ribbon clltting on 27 September. There will
also be a waik with t-shirts available tor the :first 300 waL~ers.
