Librarians Report
There were 42 resident, 6 rcon-resident end I users fee cards issued with
49 children attending story hour. There was $60..45 in fines collected Bnd
a circulation of I,375 items.
The Library ordered 93 books from Ingram p.nd they were delivered promptly.
We also recieved 57 books from Dist. IO.
Dec!here were severpl meetings that Linn attended in November.
MDM. 4th. Amigos meeting for catelouging..
Nov. 7th Dist. IO Texas Librp.ry Association. Dr. lv:ennicker was the speaker.
Nov. I5th. Texas Library Association at Ulvelde had a workshop about Services
to the Blind 8: Physcialy Handicapped. Anglo-Americfln catalouging rnd
story telling tips..
Nov.20th. cexar County Library Association with n Young Adult Author as
speaker and story hour illustrations.
Linn also visited Librpries at Eredy, Fredriksburg and Comfort.
Henry Bsked about the safety of the books stored at Seeuin Savings..
They are not covered by insurance.
Nominating Committee
Ruth, Roy & Richard.. It was noted that the terms of Donna, Richard,
Evelyn, Margl"ret, Edith & Roy would expire in Jonuary and thpt Roy & Edith
would n~t accept new terms of office..
Evelyn made a motion to accept Amendments to Library BOArd resolution
that IO members of Boerd live in Schertz B.nd that 2 members~.&t appointed ..
from Guadalupe County. Motion carried.
A motion WAS made by Evelyn that we reccomend to City Council the app-
Jintments of Mrs. Slaughter and Courtney as Board members to replace Roy
~nd Edith.. Motion WPS seconded by Edith.. Motion carried..
Julie mpde a motion to approve new terms for Riley, Grainger, Eledsoe
3nd ROfers. Henry seconded. Motion carried.

Donna made a motion that the building fund be trnnsfered to a 90 dpy
~.D. and be carried as a separate line item & that the General Acct.. beginning

Ruth read the rules for Kresges Fund applic~tion Rnd that they shouldbe
'ecieved no lAter then Feb. 15.. The decision to be announced in July.
