LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD MINUTES
The Library Advisory Board met in regular session on Monday, .July 1, 1985
at 7: 30 p. m.

The Collection stands at: Adult Volumes - 77etl; Yaung Adult - 1236; and
Juvenile - 2tltl3.
The Summer Reading Club is very successful. There are appraximately 175
children registered. A balloon launch has been held' -and an ex-Thunderbird
pilot has presented a program.
A $100 donation has been received and will be used toward the purchase af
an outside bench.
The U. S.: flag' has been stolen.
A nate threatening to burn the library was received. The police department
was notified.
FINANCE
The Finance Committee met and prepared a budget proposal for 19~5-e6.

Tony distributed copies of the letter seeking county Federal Revenue Sharing
Fund s.

BUILDING
The Schertz ctty Water Department will check the sprinklers. Fred will
contact the sprinkler company concerning the repairs made.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A plant was sent to the Universal City Library for their opening.
No report on the second Jay-Cee Bingo night has been received.
Ruth asked for a 1983 Board Roster for the plaque.
NEW & MISC. BUSINESS
Margaret and Gail are preparing a float for the 4th of July parade.
Fred moved that the meeting adjourn. Julie seconded.
