PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES
The Schertz Planning and Zoning Commission convened in a special session on
Tuesday, July 17) 1984 in the Municipal Complex Conference Room, 1400 Live
Oak Road. Members present were as follows:

CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Linebarger called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
#2 FIELD TRIP: Riedel Trailer Park and property along Cibolo Creek
Chairman Linebarger invited all present to join the Commission on the field
trip.
The Commission visited the Riedel Trailer Park and the site planned for the
low water crossing across Cibolo Creek. After a tour of the Mobile Home Park,
the Commission drove to the property on the opposite side of the Creek and the
proposed location of the road. There was discussion about Mr. Parker's plan
for the property and approximate location of the floodplain.
The Commission returned to the Municipal Complex at 8:16 P.t1.
Councilman Ken Greenwald joh1ed the meeting.
#3 CONSIDER AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION: Rezoning request Leon Parker - Riedel
Trailer Park and property south with
Ci5010 Creek low water crossing.
After a lengthy discussiona5out tne field trip and the plans for the Park,
Lee Boswell made a motion to recommend this item be scheduled for a public
heartng. BoB Andrews seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous in favor.

GENERAL DISCUSSION
Councilman Greenwald advised the Commission that Darwin Peek had been approved
5y Council as the Secretary for the Commission.

Earl Hartzog advised the Commission that there would be a Floodplain
Workshop on July 26) 1984 in Seguin.
