PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Schertz convened in
regular session, Tuesday, April 24, 1979, at 7:00 P.M. in the Municipal
Complex Conference Room, 1400 Live Oak Road. The following were present:

111 CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Aguilar at 7:00 P.M.
#2 READING OF MINUTES
The minutes of April 10, 1979 were read. John Linebarger made a
motion to approve the minutes as read. The motion was seconded
by Mr. Stanhope. The motion carried unanimously.
#3 JOINT WORKSHOP WITH CITY COUNCIL
The City Council reviewed recommendations made by the Planning and
Zoning Commission on the proposed zoning maps. There was a general
discussion of the provisions made by the Planning and Zoning Com-
mission for "Garden Homes" in the proposed zoning ordinance.
After the joint meeting closed the Planning and Zoning Commission
reviewed the proposed zoning ordinance through Article XXV.
#4 GENERAL DISCUSSION
There was a general discussion concerning possible nominees to fill
the vacancy on the Commission.
#5 ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Mr. Linebarger to adjourn. The motion was
seconded by Mr. Stanhope. Motion carried unanimously. The meet-
ing was adjourned by Chairman Aguilar at 10:15 P.M.
